In April 2017, I came across a mass appearance of this beetle in a park that included its larvae and pupae.
This beetle was found on top of a larva. It might be a newly hatched beetle.
Another ladybird larva with black coloured legs seemed to prey on the ladybird larva of the Yellow Ladybird Beetle.
This beetle feeds on powdery mildew, a fungal disease of plants. The disease normally shows up as white powdery areas on the leaves. The tiny larva below was found on a leaf surface of a Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis) that was infected by the powdery mildew.
